Dr. Jourdan and Dr. Jeurink will be teaching this session.

Dr. Jourdan attended the University of Michigan, where she received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science with chemistry minor in 1990. In 1999, Dr. Jourdan earned a second bachelor’s degree in human biology as well as her doctor of chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences). In 2001, she moved to Florida and began her career as a chiropractic physician. She began her own private practice in 2003 and eventually opened Jourdan Chiropractic Center in 2008 and practiced as a primary care physician. Treating and managing patients with these various presentations, inspired Dr. Jourdan to obtain an advanced chiropractic certification as a diplomate of internal disorders (DABCI) in 2015. Dr. Jourdan is currently a full-time faculty member of the Doctor of Chiropractic degree program at National University’s Florida site. As an instructor for both the clinical and basic sciences departments, Dr. Jourdan is able to apply her professional, business and continued education experience. In addition to advancing her chiropractic education, Dr. Jourdan is currently enrolled as a third year international medical graduate at the University of Science, Arts & Technology (USAT), with a proposed date of graduation of June, 2020. Scholarly publications include articles published in Lee County Family & Parenting and Southwest Florida Parent & Child magazines regarding female health issues.

Dr. Jeurink attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. In 2001, she graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and shortly after, purchased a Chiropractic clinic in Gardner, KS. Dr. Jeurink’s postgraduate education includes Acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology. In 2004, she earned the Fellowship International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (F.I.C.P.A.) certification and in 2008, she completed a three year postgraduate program to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internist (DABCI). Dr Jeurink is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders where she also serves as President of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists testing committee.  She is the Vice-President and Medicare Co Chairperson for the Kansas Chiropractic Association (KCA).  She serves as the Kansas Delegate on the ACA House of Delegates and serves on the Medicare Committee. Dr Jeurink is also an instructor in the Diagnostic Sciences Department at Cleveland Chiropractic College. She recently received recognition for her service of 10 years.  She has also been awarded as the KCA’s “Young Doctor of the Year” (2006) and KCA’s “Doctor of the Year” (2010). Most recently (2015) she received the Strehl/Kessinger Award by the CDID for her service on the ABCI board.
