LE, CLS, CTT
A licensed Esthetician for 13 years, Kelly originally started off going to Cosmetology school. Once realizing that the skin care portion of Cosmetology was lacking, she returned a year later to become an Esthetician. Being classically trained at an Aveda based school, she was fortunate enough to have a teacher that was open to teaching all different modalities.
Kelly has worked in a salon/spa with 40+ employees that specialized in skin care, massage, nail care and hair care. Training under the owner of that spa taught her the importance of hard work ethic and listening to her clients’ goals and needs.
A 3-day road trip some years later, Kelly and her husband, with the addition of their 2 pups, Captain and Lola, found themselves in Colorado. A new view and a new climate (where is the air and the humidity here?) put Kelly to the test. This is where Remedy Skin Studio was born. With her family and friends rallying around her, a small skin care studio was born with the goal of “Remedying” the skin from these harsh climates of Colorado.
With her most popular #NotSoBasicFacial, Kelly has been building individualized esthetic services for her clients for 4 years now. Her heart and soul goes into everything she does at Remedy Skin Studio. It’s the small town skin care studio with a touch of sass.
Integrative Wellness Coach; CTT
Born in southern Colorado, Dawn grew up in a small town where her passion for growing, preparing and eating real food started in her backyard. From sneaking peas straight off the vine in the garden, to joining her dad in the meat shed to prep a year’s worth of beef and deer for the family – she credits this hands-on experience with her love for cooking with fresh, local ingredients.
It was only as she got older, that she gained full appreciation for another aspect of her childhood: weekends with her great grandmother who tended to the health of her kids and grandkids with food, herbs, tinctures, apple cider vinegar and other natural remedies – but always lots of apple cider vinegar! Viewing the body as a whole and health as a personal matter, Dawn has always embraced naturopathic medicine as a compass for true wellness.
She studied Marketing and French at Colorado State University but found her calling when she earned her Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certification.
Though much of her career until now has been in Marketing and service, her passion and skills shine brightest as an Integrative Wellness Coach, where she loves empowering people to be the leader in their own health journey.
Dr. Kleber received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at New York Chiropractic College in 1982. He also earned his Diplomate Degree from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists in 2000. He is one of two coordinators of the DABCI program, certified by the Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders. His interest in internal medicine began when he came to believe that his patients were suffering from more than just musculoskeletal issues. He brings a wealth of knowledge and over 3 decades of experience to the clinic.
On the weekend, Dr. Kleber enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, golfing and catching up with good friends over a drink.
Licensed Acupuncturist & Licensed Massage Therapist
Born in Sleepy Hollow, New York, and raised in Tampa, Florida, Meghan McKechnie’s passion for assisting people in their healing process came at an early age. She began her natural medicine path as a teenager, searching for answers to her own health issues. This search ignited a passion to help people heal their bodies.
Meghan attended Cortiva Institute in Pinellas Park, Florida, where she graduated with a degree in massage therapy in 2009. She then studied at East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida, later transferring to Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, where she graduated in December 2015, with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. She holds a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCCAOM.
She is a proud mom of two and loves spending time with her family on the weekends. On the rare occasions when she can sneak away from the office, she finds epic adventures for her family, often involving lots of outdoor time and amazing food.
Office Manager; Quality Assurance Manager
Aimee was born in the midwest but spent most of her childhood and young adulthood in California, finally settling in Northern Colorado in 2009. A little-known fact about Aimee, is that she has her Bachelor of Arts degree in music – more specifically, in violin performance. After graduating from college, feeling burnt out on performance, she realized she wanted to jump on a different kind of career path. She has been working in quality assurance and customer support for over a decade – advocating for people to make sure they get what they need.
At Gateway Natural Medicine, Aimee works to ensure that you have the best possible experience, whether in-person at the office or connecting with staff virtually or over the phone. She manages the flow and efficiency of the office and is continuously looking for areas for improvement, in order to create the highest standard of patient care. She enjoys making sure that every person walking in or calling our office, is having the best doctor’s office experience.
When she is not busy with customer service and office audits, you’ll have a hard time finding her, as she will likely be somewhere in the mountains seeking out new daring summits – hiking, running, climbing, and biking her way out of her comfort zone.
Dr. Joshua Conzo
Dr. Joshua Conzo has been working in the functional medicine field since completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012. His love of functional medicine and nutrition began when dealing with his own family and personal autoimmune conditions and seeing where traditional medicine was missing the underlying cause. His focus areas include autoimmune disease, endocrinology, functional neurology, and childhood disorders. He completed advanced training as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP) at the Functional Medicine University, further developing his knowledge and skills in diagnostic testing and healing based on treating the root cause of disease.
Dr. Josh has also completed training under the Kharrazian Institute – specialties included functional endocrinology, functional brain chemistry, and lab analysis. To continue his training, he has completed over 300 hours towards his American Clinical Board of Nutrition Diplomate (DACBN) and is currently enrolled in the Chiropractic Internist Diplomate (DABCI).
When he isn’t helping patients, he spends time with his beautiful wife and two little boys outdoors. As new residents of Colorado, they are looking forward to exploring the Rocky Mountains and all that the area has to offer.
Lab Manager; Certified Phlebotomy Technician, PBT
Hanna was born and raised in Berthoud, Colorado – a true native to the area! After graduating from high school, she continued on to AIMS Community College to complete her Phlebotomy Technician Certification. While overcoming health issues as a child and into adulthood, she experience a lot of “BAD pokes.” When asked why she pursued a career as a Phlebotomist, she says she just wanted to be one of “the good ones.”
Prior to joining the Gateway Natural Medicine team, her phlebotomy experience was obtained at Mckee Medical Center, where she worked in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, working all departments and floors of the hospital.
When she started at Gateway, she immediately noticed a difference in patient care. Her favorite part of her job is that she gets to know each patient – building a relationship with them. She likes hearing about their kids and jobs, and she likes to make all patients feel comfortable and cared for.
When you stop in for labs, be sure to ask her about her two adorable kiddos, gardening and her favorite places to go fishing!
