Prenatal Chiropractic & the Webster Technique
Pregnancy changes your posture, your center of gravity, and the way your pelvis and spine carry weight, often faster than your body can fully adapt. Prenatal chiropractic in Berthoud, CO with Dr. Hayley Nick, a Webster Certified chiropractor, is built around supporting that changing alignment so you can move through pregnancy with less pain and more ease.

What Is the Webster Technique?
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment protocol used during pregnancy to assess sacral alignment and pelvic balance. The goal is to reduce tension in the pelvis and surrounding ligaments, including the round ligaments that support the uterus, so the pelvis can function as well as possible throughout your changing pregnancy. As a Webster Certified provider through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Dr. Nick has completed specific training in this technique and uses it as part of a broader, individualized prenatal care plan, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Common Pregnancy Discomforts We Help With
- Low back and hip pain
- Sciatica and nerve-related leg pain
- Round ligament pain
- Pubic symphysis pain and pelvic instability
- Rib pain and postural strain as your pregnancy progresses
When to Start and What to Expect
Chiropractic care is safe throughout pregnancy, and many patients start as soon as discomfort begins, whether that is in the first trimester or the third. Your table and positioning are modified as your pregnancy progresses, using pregnancy-specific supports so you are always comfortable face down or side-lying, never pressure on your belly. Adjustments are gentle, and your care plan is adjusted visit to visit based on how you are feeling.
Many patients continue chiropractic care right up until delivery, and we encourage a smooth transition into postpartum and pelvic floor care afterward. Learn more about postpartum and pelvic floor support or our birth planning sessions.
